Knowledge Co-generation and Innovation

SFI CELECT is a centre for research-driven innovation. This means that the research should create value for the partners, not just in research articles.

Knowledge is developed together with companies and public-sector organisations, and the results are tested where the development actually takes place.

Running pilots at partner companies

We systematically follow up the innovation potential in the research. New methods, tools and ways of working are tested as pilots in the partner companies. The aim is at least two industrial demonstrators with each partner. 

Within four years, all the partners shall have adopted improved, AI-supported tools in their core processes for product development.

Projects that make a difference

Through arenas for idea development, joint workshops and close dialogue with the partners, we uncover new opportunities and build new collaborations. 

The centre shall create national and international research and innovation projects worth at least NOK 250 million, also with companies outside the consortium. With dedicated roles for innovation and impact measurement, we document value creation along the way.
