Stay up to date with what's happening

Supply chains are critical for complex systems, but face ever greater challenges. This project will develop and test a digital platform that combines simulation, optimisation and responsible artificial intelligence to support better decision-making.

AI-assisted design tools

The research will focus on developing AI-assisted methods for parallel hardware-software co-design of mechatronic systems, enabling virtual prototyping and simulation-driven development from early design stages.

Autonomous Underwater Vehicle - Hugin from KDA

Complex Systems AI-assisted design tools

System architects design drone swarms, autonomous ships, factories and energy networks. This project will collect and systematise experiential knowledge from system architects, and examine how AI can strengthen the work of developing robust systems.
